Your work should be your calling

It's important that we learn a trade that matches our interests and abilities. Only then do we enjoy learning new things and like going there. Especially at a time when pay mostly isn't enough to live on, you should at least be able to say:"Work is a blast!"

Getting up in the morning isn't always easy for us. Sometimes the night was simply terrible or we got to bed far too late. Our head may still have been full of thoughts we couldn't switch off even at night. So we get up in the morning feeling wrecked.
Whether the first stop after getting up is the shower, a cigarette, or a coffee depends on our habits. Sometimes it's a combination of everything. What matters, though, is that it wakes us up and gets us going for the day.
When it's raining outside, our mood goes out the window and it's hard to motivate ourselves. But the same can happen on a warm summer day. Everyone else has the day off, goes swimming, or meets up in the park. Only you are wasting away at your desk. This feeling makes us more likely to want to quit our job.

Enjoying your work

But when we get to do what we love doing, work isn't just work, it's so much more than that. In the best case, we have nice coworkers who are already waiting for us or with whom we can share part of the commute. You can talk about personal things as well as work things. Sometimes friendships even develop that way.
Once we arrive at the company, we greet other coworkers. If you have a good boss, you know that they value a friendly, collegial atmosphere, that lunch breaks are taken together, and that work has no place during that time.
Some bosses are simply great. They make sure the team feels like a family, provide water and coffee, and don't look at how long employees are there but at what they accomplish productively in that time. It doesn't even have to be written anywhere that work is a blast! The employees feel it, and when the boss expands the leisure offerings and every employee has a feel-good oasis around them, no matter how exhausting the workday is, it doesn't matter what's going on outside. Then every employee can say:"Work is a blast!"
